City of Pasadena
Museum of History

Event branding and support materials designed for Pasadena Museum of History’s community celebration marking Pasadena’s 140th birthday, the Route 66 centennial, and Colorado Boulevard’s 150th anniversary.

Highway to Adventure

A vibrant event identity celebrating Pasadena’s history, the Route 66 centennial, and the 150th anniversary of Colorado Boulevard.

The Challenge
The museum needed one cohesive visual system to connect several historic milestones while creating an inviting, celebratory atmosphere for residents, visitors, sponsors, and community partners.

The Approach
Beth developed a visual identity that blended the energy of mid-century travel posters with birthday graphics, Pasadena landmarks, Route 66 references, and a bright, celebratory color palette. The flexible system carried consistently across promotional materials and the event environment.

The Result
The identity gave the celebration a distinctive and memorable presence, helping bring residents, visitors, sponsors, and community partners together for a festive, history-focused event at the museum.
